A New Beginning

What is there yet to say?
The regrettable denouement I have to take.
High hopes, great expectations;
No tears, my sorrows how to drain?

Tuesday

The same gloominess from yesterday persisted. This, however, does not suggest that I have been driven to despair. At least not yet. Amidst all the darkness (and ever darker), I have always seen a glimmering light, dim as it might appear. Come what may. I hope it will eventually carry me forth.

It snowed a bit today (although the snowflake felt more like congealed salt balls), which made her almost shout out aloud...and brought smile to her face. something that has been missing in quite some time - really wish it'd snow everyday.

A Rollercoaster Ride

The rule of riding a rollercoaster is - no matter how exciting the ride is and no matter how much you've enjoyed it, you'll always end up where you begin. Well..that's where I am.

And a song that has up to now been able to carry me through my hardest times:

Watch the early morning sun,
drip like blood from the day,
See the busy people run,
so many games to play
See the blue suburban dream,
under the jet plane sky,
Sleep away and dream a dream
Life is just a lullaby

Oh, and everything will flow
Oh, you know everything will flow
Oh...

Watch the day begin again,
Whispering into the night,
See the pretty people play,
Hurrying under the light,
A million cars, a million trains,
Under the jet plane sky
Nothing lost and nothing gained
Life is just a lullaby

Oh, and everything will flow
Oh, I said everything will flow
Oh, you know everything will flow
Oh...

Oh, and everything will flow
Oh, you know everything will flow
Oh...

The neon lights in the night tonight
will say "everything will flow"
The stars that shine in the open sky
will say "everything will flow"
The lovers kissed with an openness
will say "everything will flow"
The cars parked in the hypermarket
know "everything will flow"

Some or any other London night

Just realised that I'd been out of practice to the extent that I'd almost forgot my username and password...This post marks yet another of my (previously vain) attempts to revitalise this page.

ps. Here's the first and last picture I took in London: A pizza feast a few weeks ago at central London with members of the AAOTWSA or "Alumni Association of Those Who Survived APU"

The Globe

My toes were frozen.
My hands were numb.
The chill even penetrated my hair.
Yet I could not stop my prance,
for none of these matters
when one finds the ultimate entertaintment.
The greatest of the theatre at its greatest,
performed in the fashion intended by the greatest maestro.
